May is Stroke Month and Ascension St. John is sharing important information to raise awareness for stroke symptoms and risk reduction.
When a patient shows signs of a stroke, seconds matter. Medical Director of the Ascension St. John Heyman Stroke Center, Dr. Rahul Rahangdale, visited with Fox 23 to share the signs and symptoms of a stroke and how the team at St. John provides timely, comprehensive care for stroke patients.
Additionally, 43-year old stroke survivor Stephen Goodroad shared his personal story after experiencing a stroke and receiving care at Ascension St. John. Stephen has made a tremendous recovery and continues to take things one day at a time.
