The City of Vista's Community Improvement Team (CIT) plays an important role in keeping Vista clean, safe, and welcoming for residents, businesses, and visitors alike. This dedicated team works throughout the city to remove blight, debris, trash, and other items that can negatively impact neighborhoods, public spaces, and commercial areas.
The team (as pictured from left to right: Javier, Christian, and Jose) also assist with homeless encampment cleanups in coordination with the City's contracted homeless service provider, San Diego Rescue Mission, and the Vista Sheriff's Office. This collaborative approach helps address community concerns while connecting individuals experiencing homelessness with available services and support.

Residents can help by reporting debris, illegal dumping, or other cleanup needs through the City's Access Vista app or using the Report a Problem form on our website. The app makes it easy to submit a service request directly to the City, helping staff identify problem areas and respond more efficiently.
By working together, the City and community members can keep Vista beautiful, healthy, and a place we're all proud to call home!
