On the Meeting with the Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization
On June 22, 2026, First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhromjon Aloyev met with Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, Director-General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO).
During the talks, the parties discussed practical aspects of further advancing constructive dialogue and strengthening effective cooperation with the esteemed regional organization in the fields of science, culture, education and tourism.
Particular attention was paid to the implementation of the Action Plan, which outlines priority areas for expanding cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and ICESCO, as well as for jointly undertaking promising projects in the near future.
