Novant Health names Kyle Bridges senior vice president of government relations

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - With more than 15 years of experience in public policy, government affairs and strategic leadership, Novant Health has named Kyle Bridges as senior vice president of government relations. Bridges brings a proven ability to build partnerships and advance initiatives that benefit patients and communities across the Carolinas.

In this role, Bridges will lead Novant Health's government relations and public affairs strategy, helping inform policies that affect how patients access and experience healthcare. He will work with elected officials and organizational leaders to address healthcare challenges and advocate for solutions that support patients, physicians and healthcare professionals.

Bridges will also support the Novant Health Center for Public Policy Solutions, which develops research, white papers and policy recommendations informed by the experiences of patients and clinicians. The Center's work helps inform state and federal policy discussions on some of healthcare's most pressing challenges.

"His ability to build trusted relationships and understand the issues shaping healthcare will advance our advocacy efforts and help ensure the needs of our patients, team members and communities are represented in policy discussions."

Before joining Novant Health, Bridges held senior leadership roles as a staffer in North Carolina's Congressional Delegation, serving as state director at the United States Senate, and district director at the U.S. House of Representatives. He also previously led community, business and government relations efforts for Charlotte Center City Partners.

Bridges holds a master's degree in public policy and administration from New York University and a bachelor's degree in history from Wake Forest University.
