New Permanent Representative of Rwanda presents credentials

VIENNA, 11 November (UN Information Service) - The new Permanent Representative of Rwanda to the United Nations (Vienna), Urujeni Bakuramutsa presented her credentials today to the Director-General of the United Nations Office at Vienna (UNOV) Ghada Waly.

During her career, Mrs. Urujeni Bakuramutsa, who is also Permanent Representative of the Republic of Rwanda to the United Nations Office at Vienna, has served in various capacities, among them:

Ambassador to Jordan (2023-2025); Director of Cabinet, Office of the President, Kigali, Rwanda (2020-2023); Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (2018-2020); Minister Counsellor and Deputy Permanent Representative, Permanent Mission of Rwanda to the UN in New York (2016-2018): Director General, Imbuto Foundation, Kigali (2014-2016); Chief Executive Officer, Premier Business Consultancy, Kigali (2012-2014); and Chief Executive Officer, Imanzi Solutions IT Company, California, United States (2006-2011).

Ms. Bakuramutsa holds a bachelor's degree in biology from Sacramento State University in California, United States.

She speaks English, French and Kinyarwanda.
