UPS Statement on New People Investments

We are always listening to our employees' feedback and finding new ways to create a better experience for every UPSer. That's why we're proud to announce we are installing air conditioning in 5,000 of our existing delivery vehicles in the hottest regions across the country and testing air conditioning in the cargo area of our package cars. This investment is above and beyond the commitment we've made to include air conditioning in all newly purchased vehicles. In every region, our drivers also will continue to benefit from improvements we've made to our vehicles to reduce temperature and improve air flow. Collaboration with the Teamsters has been important as we take these steps for our people.

In addition to today's announcement, we are committed to continuing to advance health and safety programs that put our employees first and build on the improvements we've made across our operations.
