Canton, Michigan - MMS Holdings, a global, data-focused clinical research organization (CRO), today highlighted its expanded engagement with emerging and growth-stage biotech and biopharma companies across the U.S. West Coast ahead of the BIO International Convention 2026.
As biotech and biopharma companies face increasing pressure to make critical development decisions earlier, often with limited capital and operational bandwidth, MMS continues to see growing demand for specialized scientific and strategic support spanning innovative trial design, regulatory alignment, operational execution, and data oversight. In response, the company has deepened its West Coast commercial presence with the addition of Directors of Business Development Stephanie Liu and Tina Tran, strengthening sponsor engagement across key biotech hubs including the San Francisco Bay Area and broader West Coast market. Their appointments build on MMS' existing West Coast leadership team, including Ben Kaspar, Vice President, Regulatory Strategy.
Prior to joining MMS, Stephanie Liu held commercial leadership and alliance management roles across biotechnology and pharmaceutical organizations, supporting programs from early development strategy through commercialization. Tina Tran brings strategic business development experience across clinical technology and biometrics solutions, including partnership governance and operational models that support scalable, risk-based outsourcing. Both bring extensive experience collaborating with companies across the West Coast biotech ecosystem.
"Many of the most expensive development risks emerge long before a study becomes operational," said Ben Dudley, President and Chief Commercial Officer at MMS. "West Coast biotech and biopharma companies are increasingly looking for partners who can help pressure-test development strategy early through aligned statistical and regulatory approaches, supporting more confident decision-making across the trial lifecycle. Expanding our presence in these innovation hubs strengthens our ability to support sponsors at those critical inflection points."
Ben Dudley, President and Chief Commercial Officer; Chris Schoonmaker, Chief Operating Officer; Aiden Flynn, Senior Vice President, Strategic Statistical Services; and Duane Robinson, Senior Director, Business Development, will represent MMS at BIO 2026, meeting with trial sponsors and venture capital firms to discuss approaches to trial design, data strategy, and regulatory execution.
To arrange a meeting with MMS leadership during BIO 2026, taking place June 22-25, 2026, at the San Diego Convention Center, complete the request form.
