Ben Franklin Bridge to Shine Blue Tonight in Support of Xavier Taylor
The Delaware River Port Authority (DRPA) will illuminate the Ben Franklin Bridge in blue tonight in support of 12-year-old Xavier Taylor of Maple Shade, NJ, who remains in critical condition following an incident at a baseball game on May 26.
The special lighting serves as a symbol of hope and solidarity with Xavier, his family, friends, teammates, and the entire community that has rallied around him during this difficult time.
The DRPA's thoughts are with Xavier and his loved ones as he continues his fight toward recovery. Tonight, the Ben Franklin Bridge will shine blue as a visible reminder that an entire region is standing behind him and wishing him strength.
The DRPA joins the many individuals, organizations, and communities across the region and beyond in supporting Xavier and the Taylor family.
