TikTok LIVE Invites Audiences Inside LACMA's David Geffen Galleries as Part of Museums Come Alive Initiative

This Wednesday, September 30, TikTok LIVE is partnering with the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) to invite its global community inside the museum's new David Geffen Galleries, streaming across @drewmtillman, @lizzvegalove, @lacma, @tiktok and @tiktoklive_us. The LIVE is part of Museums Come Alive, a series within TikTok's Comes Alive program, which gives users year-round access to LIVE content across museums, food, travel and more.

Tune in to the LIVE for an exclusive look at LACMA's David Geffen Galleries:

• 10:00-11:00am PT: @drewmtillman joins a LACMA curator for a guided walk through highlights of the museum's Egyptian collection. Viewers can engage in real-time by voting in live polls, asking the curator questions and joining the conversation in chat.
• 11:00am-12:00pm PT: Harpist @lizzvegalove performs a live instrumental set inspired by the art and atmosphere of the galleries. Between pieces, she'll share the stories behind her music and connect with viewers in real time.

Launched earlier this year on International Museum Day, Museums Come Alive is a series of official TikTok LIVEs in partnership with museums around the world, giving viewers a behind-the-scenes look inside iconic cultural institutions. The series has already visited The Metropolitan Museum of Art, MoMA and the Pokémon Fossil Museum at the Field Museum in the U.S., as well as the Almaty Museum of Arts, the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Abdeen Palace Museum and the Basilica of the Sagrada Familia abroad.
