Today, House Committee on Veterans' Affairs Chairman Mike Bost (R-Ill.), released the following statement after the House passed 14 bipartisan veterans' bills this week:
"Fourteen bills mean fourteen wins for veterans and their families. The bills the House passed this week address a range of issues from: improving education and job training benefits, expanding access to health care for veterans in rural areas and remote parts of the world, modernizing benefits outreach, protecting VA's medical supply chain, and more, these bills are in lockstep with our promise to make VA better," said Chairman Bost. "I want to thank the members of our House Republican conference for their forward-thinking ideas and leadership on these bills to advance the delivery of healthcare and benefits on behalf of the veterans we serve."
