Greenberg Traurig’s House Band The Meltones Win 10th Consecutive Law Rocks NYC Title

NEW YORK - Nov. 14, 2025 - For the 10th consecutive year, global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's house band, The Meltones, won the annual Law Rocks NYC battle of the bands on the second night of the two-day event, held Nov. 13 at Bowery Ballroom in New York City. The Meltones, named after firm co-founder Mel Greenberg, has been the Greenberg Traurig house band since the mid-1980s. Law Rocks Global promotes music education for underprivileged youth and raises money for local nonprofit organizations.

With Greenberg Traurig's support, The Meltones raised more than $100,000 in sponsorship and donations for The Door, setting a record for money raised in a single year by a firm at Law Rocks NYC. The Door empowers young people to reach their potential by providing comprehensive youth development services in a diverse and caring environment.

Each night, the winning band was selected based on sponsorship dollars raised, ticket sales, donations raised, and judges' score. Greenberg Traurig was the presenting sponsor of the event. Law Rocks NYC raised more than $400,000 for 11 different charities.

  • On keyboard - Christopher A. Cernik, Albany Government Law & Policy shareholder
  • On vocals - Ashley A. LeBlanc, New York Litigation of counsel; Tracy Newirth, chief shareholder recruiting and integration officer; Michael R. Hogue, Las Vegas Construction Law shareholder; and Jennifer Hall, New York Real Estate associate, on vocals and guitar
  • On drums - Tom Helf, guest artist
