GOODWILL KEYSTONE CELEBRATES GRAND OPENING OF KING OF PRUSSIA MALL DONATION CENTER

King of Prussia, Pa. - Goodwill Keystone celebrated the grand opening of its first attended donation center in Montgomery County at King of Prussia Mall, off of Allendale Road near Cheesecake Factory on Thursday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony featuring local and regional officials, community partners, and Goodwill Keystone leadership.

Located in the parking lot of the largest shopping mall in Pennsylvania, this new donation center expands Goodwill Keystone's presence in Montgomery County to four locations, while creating several new jobs; the organization now employs 95 team members across the county. The opening represents Goodwill Keystone's ongoing commitment to transforming donations into opportunity providing job training, career pathways, and sustainable impact through the power of reuse.

The organization offers a free electronics recycling program; all of its stores and donation centers accept unwanted electronics in any condition, at no charge. Goodwill Keystone sells working electronics to support its mission and responsibly recycle e-waste with its partner, Reworld.

"Since the launch of our electronics recycling program in May 2024, Goodwill Keystone has recycled 2.6 million pounds of electronics, keeping those toxic materials out of landfills and our environment," said Bruce Brockman, Vice President of Sustainability, Operations and Logistics at Goodwill Keystone. "We want to be your one-stop donation spot, so bring your electronics in any condition, along with your clothes, household items, and more - your donations create local jobs and change lives right here in Montgomery County."

In 2024, Goodwill Keystone helped divert over 30 million pounds of materials from landfills and processed over 45 million pounds of donations. The King of Prussia Donation Center adds to these efforts, advancing Goodwill Keystone's mission to build a more circular, inclusive economy that empowers individuals and families to thrive.

This attended donation center, at which a donor service representative accepts your donations, is Goodwill Keystone's third donation-only location (no store) in its 22-county footprint. Those who donate at the new King of Prussia donation center will receive a free exclusive Goodwill reusable bag, while supplies last.
