Mercyhealth welcomes radiation oncologist
Mercyhealth is pleased to welcome Iftekhar Ahmad, MD, board cerified radiation oncologist, to Mercyhealth Cancer Center, 1000 Mineral Point Ave., Janesville.
"Every patient's cancer journey is unique, and it is important to recognize this," Dr. Ahmad said. "It is also very important to truly listen to each and every one of their concerns. My goal is to be an advocate for my patients and assist them in any way through diagnosis, treatment, and God willing, beng cured."After earning his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine, Detroit, Dr. Ahmad served a radiation oncology residency at Wayne State University/Karmanos Cancer Institute, Detroit. He is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
