Jim Donnelly, President and Chief Executive Officer of Wayne Bank, is pleased to announce the promotion of Katy Doan to Assistant Vice President, Penn Yan Community Office Manager.

"Since joining Wayne Bank, she has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, sound judgment, and a genuine passion for helping customers and colleagues succeed. Her experience and dedication will continue to strengthen our Penn Yan office and the communities we serve."
Katy has worked in the banking industry since 2005, bringing a broad range of experience and industry knowledge to Wayne Bank. In this role, Katy is responsible for managing the Penn Yan Community Office to meet and exceed the financial needs of customers. She works closely with management to establish sales goals and enhance office profitability, fosters a highly motivated and collaborative team environment, and ensures all operations are conducted in accordance with established Bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Katy is deeply involved in the Penn Yan community and is committed to supporting initiatives that enhance the wellbeing of local residents. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Yates County History Center and was recently selected to participate in the Yates County Leadership Program. She also volunteers at numerous local events, including the Yates County Christmas Program, the Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner, Celebrate Service, and Celebrate Yates, as well as activities through her church and her son's school. A lifelong resident of Penn Yan, Katy currently resides in Branchport, New York, with her son, Avery. Her greatest joy is being his mom.
