NORWALK, Conn., July 3, 2026 - FactSet, a global financial digital platform and enterprise solutions provider, announced updates to the constituent selection rules for the FactSet Asia Semiconductor Index methodology, effective July 15, 2026. These updates are designed to better capture and reflect the dynamic and rapid development of the Asia semiconductor industry.

Section 2.1.1: As an exception, a security not eligible for Stock Connect may qualify at a scheduled reconstitution or pursuant to the Fast Entry Rule in Section 3.3, provided its total market capitalization is equal to or greater than the 50th percentile total market capitalization of existing index constituents as of the applicable Selection Day or, in the case of a Fast Entry review, the applicable eligibility assessment date. |

Section 2.1.6: Apply the total market capitalization weighing methodology to securities that remain after step 1 to 5 by dividing their individual total market capitalization to the sum total market capitalization of all securities. |

Section 3.3: Fast entry rule: A stock may be eligible for fast-track addition to the Index between scheduled reconstitution or rebalance periods five trading days after (i) its listing date, in the case of an IPO, or (ii) its first inclusion in the Stock Connect eligible securities list, in the case of an existing China A-share stock. In either case, the stock must meet the minimum liquidity requirement and all other required selection criteria and have a total market capitalization equal to or greater than the 50th percentile total market capitalization of existing Index constituents as of the applicable eligibility assessment date. |
