Baseball fans and book lovers alike are invited to come together for a day of community, learning, and fun at Library Day with the San Francisco Giants. Taking place on April 26, 2026, this special event highlights the important role libraries play across the Bay Area while offering a lively pregame experience for all ages.
The celebration runs from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at China Basin Park, located just across from McCovey Cove near Oracle Park. Attendees can explore a variety of activities hosted by regional library systems, including free books, interactive kids programming, and opportunities to sign up for a library card.
In addition to the pregame festivities, fans can support their local libraries by attending the game. For every ticket purchased through the Library Day promotion, $5 will be donated to the library of your choice. Community members are encouraged to purchase their ticket through this link and select the San Rafael Public Library during checkout so proceeds directly benefit local programs serving children, teens, and adults.
Library Day with the Giants brings together community resources, hands-on activities, and opportunities to support local libraries, all in one place before the first pitch.
