ADVISORY - WASHINGTON COUNTY - Governor Shapiro, DCED Secretary Siger to Make Major Economic Development Announcement at GE Vernova in Southwestern Pennsylvania

Governor Josh Shapiro and DCED Secretary Rick Siger will make a major economic development announcement at GE Vernova's Southwestern Pennsylvania facilities that will allow the Commonwealth to continue to lead in energy and manufacturing.

Since taking office, Governor Shapiro has announced over $41 billion in new private sector investments in the Commonwealth, creating over 25,000 jobs. The Shapiro Administration created the first statewide economic development strategy in nearly two decades with the focus on five key industries: manufacturing, life sciences, agriculture, energy, and robotics and technology.
