State Route 4 - Lane & Ramp Closures
One-Way Traffic Control For Tree Work In San Joaquin Delta

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 4 (SR-4)/Crosstown Freeway for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • One-way traffic control on SR-4 from Bacon Island/Trapper Road to Tracy Boulevard for tree work beginning Monday, Oct. 27, through Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control on SR-4 from Tracy Boulevard to Middle River for tree work beginning Wednesday, Oct. 29, through Thursday, Oct. 30, from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closures from Wilson Way and from Filbert Street to westbound SR-4/Crosstown Freeway for pavement work beginning Monday, October 27, through Friday, October 31, from 7:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight lane closures from Walker Lane to Adelbert Avenue for pavement work beginning Tuesday, October 28, through Saturday, November 1, from 7:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m.

Interstate 5 - Lane & Ramp Closures
Closures From Route 132 To Sacramento County Line

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 5 (I-5) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full connector-ramp closures from northbound I-5 to SR-132 for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 7:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, intermittent full off-ramp closures on southbound I-5 at Alpine Avenue and at March Lane for striping operations beginning Saturday, October 25, through Monday, October 27, from 10:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, alternating lane closures on northbound and southbound I-5 from Hammer Lane to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line for construction beginning Sunday, October 26, through Saturday, November 1, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).
  • Overnight, alternating full on and off-ramp closures at Hammer Lane, Eight Mile Road, SR-12 (Flag City), Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Walnut Grove/Thornton Road for construction beginning Sunday, October 26, through Saturday, November 1, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m. (northbound) and from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m. (southbound).

The above listed lane and ramp closures on I-5 between Hammer Lane and the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line are required as part of the I-5 Anchor Pavement Project that will improve 34 miles of existing pavement and shoulders from Hammer Lane in Stockton to the San Joaquin/Sacramento County line. The project will also replace on- and off-ramps with upgraded concrete at Eight Mile Road, State Route 12, Turner Road, Peltier Road, and Thornton Road/Walnut Grove Road. Overnight Lane Closures In Lodi

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, intermittent lane closures on SR-12/Kettleman Lane from Thornton Road to SR-99 for striping operations beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, intermittent lane closures on SR-12/Victor Road at Cluff Avenue for striping operations beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

State Route 99 - Ramp Closures
Overnight Highway Ramp Closures For Striping Operations

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on State Route 99 (SR-99) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures on southbound SR-99 at Austin Road for bridge work beginning Sunday, October 26, through Wednesday, October 29, from 9:00 p.m. until 6:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on-ramp closure from SR-120/Yosemite Avenue to northbound SR-99 for striping operations beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closure from northbound SR-99 at SR-26/Fremont Street for striping operations beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Long-term full closure of the Calaveras River/Frontage Road Overcrossing of SR-99 due to bridge repair work. Estimated completion date is November 2025. Please seek alternate route.
  • Overnight, full off-ramp closures from southbound SR-99 at SR-12/Kettleman Lane for striping operations beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 8:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.

Interstate 580 - Ramp Closures
Construction Work At Patterson Pass

San Joaquin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform various closures on Interstate 580 (I-580) for maintenance and construction work within San Joaquin County. Work will occur as follows:

  • Overnight, full on- and off-ramp closures on eastbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 9:00 p.m. until 5:00 a.m.
  • Overnight, full on- and off-ramp closures on westbound I-580 at Patterson Pass for construction beginning Sunday, October 26, through Friday, October 31, from 7:00 p.m. until 3:30 a.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
