University of the Ozarks alumnus Daniel Sanderson '26 has been hired by his alma mater as a resident director in the Office of Student Life.

Sanderson will serve as the resident director for MacLean Hall and Eagle Village.

A native of Clarksville, Sanderson graduated from Ozarks in May with a degree in environmental studies. A standout on the men's cross country, track and swim teams, he also served as a resident assistant for the University from 2025-26.

"As an alumnus, I am proud to be able to come back and be a part of the team, taking on a new role as a resident director," Sanderson said. "My experience as a student was awesome, and I want to make sure the students who come here feel supported, grow as a student, and become successful."

Sanderson has also worked in landscaping and taxidermy and was a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) during his time at U of O.

Outside of work, Sanderson enjoys running races, hiking, swimming, jiu jitsu, watching movies, and playing sand volleyball and pickleball
