Fort Worth surpassed 1 million residents in 2025 - a reason to celebrate and a significant milestone, but one that carries an incredible responsibility. To help advance smart investments and planning so that Fort Worth is set up for success, the City's Financial Management Services Department created the first-ever Fiscal Year 2025 Popular Annual Financial Report (PAFR).

The report is part of an ongoing Fort Worth effort to achieve its vision: To become the most livable and best-managed city in the country. The PAFR provides residents with a clear, concise and engaging overview of Fort Worth's financial health. The report demonstrates how thoughtful stewardship of public resources translates into real, tangible momentum and strong financial standing.

The goal was to foster transparency by providing accurate and accessible information in a format that is easy for residents to understand. That goal was achieved with vibrant layouts, storytelling graphics and concise text that clearly stated the City's financial position.

"We will continue to manage resources responsibly, invest strategically and pursue initiatives that reflect our shared values and mission of working together to build a strong community," Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker said.

The Popular Annual Financial Report is available in printed and digital formats.
