Ruslan Edelgeriyev held a meeting on climate change adaptation

The meeting was attended by federal executive officials, presidential plenipotentiary envoys in the federal districts, as well as representatives of businesses, scientific and educational institutions, and non-profit organisations.

Participants reviewed the implementation of national and regional action plans for climate change adaptation. The discussion focused on the current status of regional plans and ways to enhance their effectiveness, including their alignment with regional socio-economic and spatial development strategies and the expansion of cooperation with major companies on joint initiatives.

The meeting also addressed the incorporation of climate adaptation measures into large companies' strategies, including planning processes, implementation practices, and available financing mechanisms.
