Joint Statement by United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer, Secretary of State Rubio, and Minister of Foreign Affairs for Brazil Mauro Vieira

WASHINGTON - Today, United States Trade Representative Jamieson Greer and Secretary of State Marco Rubio met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs for Brazil Mauro Vieira and had very positive talks regarding trade and ongoing bilateral issues. Ambassador Greer, Secretary Rubio, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Vieira agreed to collaborate and conduct discussions on multiple fronts in the immediate future and establish a working path forward. Both sides also agreed to work together to schedule a meeting between President Trump and President Lula at the earliest possible occasion.
