Celebrate Women's History Month with local historian Gayle Hicks Fripp during a Lunch and Learn from 12:30-1:30 pm, Friday, March 13 at the Greensboro History Museum, 130 Summit Ave. As the museum's former assistant director, Fripp will discuss the women who shaped the Greensboro History Museum and 100 years of connecting with the community. She will be joined by former Greensboro History Museum curators Linda Evans and Susan Joyce Webster.
This Lunch and Learn program complements the current exhibit, GHM100: Treasures. Legacies. Remix, a lively look at the museum's 100 year history, remarkable collections, and deep roots in the Greensboro community. Guests for this free event are invited to bring a lunch or order delivery to the museum from Jimmy Johns.
