Morningstar to Bring German Businesses Together in New Frankfurt Office in 2028

New office at FOUR Frankfurt T1 will bring Morningstar's teams across its capabilities together in one location designed for future growth

Frankfurt, Germany, 30 July 2026 - Morningstar, Inc. (Nasdaq: MORN), a leading provider of independent investing insights, today announced plans to move its Frankfurt office to FOUR Frankfurt T1 in 2028.

The move reflects Morningstar's continued investment in Germany and helps reinforce Frankfurt's role as a key hub for its operations in Germany and across Europe, bringing Morningstar's Germany-based employees together in one location for the first time. Teams across data, research and analytics from Morningstar Direct Platform; credit ratings from Morningstar DBRS; ESG data and ratings from Morningstar Sustainalytics; and indexes and benchmarks from Morningstar Indexes will be co-located across thoughtfully designed spaces tailored to their unique business requirements while supporting continued growth.

Christian Mesenholl, managing director of central EMEA for Morningstar, said: "Our teams in Germany already work closely together for many of the same clients and markets. Bringing everyone together in one office can create more opportunities for innovation, and client engagement while supporting Morningstar's next stage of growth in Germany."

Spanning floors 8 and 9 of FOUR Frankfurt T1, the new Morningstar Frankfurt office will provide modern, flexible workspaces designed around how people work today. The office will include dedicated collaboration spaces, quiet areas for focused work, and meeting and conference facilities for internal teamwork and client engagement. The larger footprint will also provide room for Morningstar's businesses in Germany to grow together in a single location. For clients, the office will provide a single Frankfurt location for meetings and engagement across Morningstar's full range of capabilities.

Located in the heart of Frankfurt, FOUR Frankfurt T1 is part of the wider FOUR Frankfurt development, a mixed-use urban district that combines offices, residences, hotels, restaurants, retail, and public gathering spaces. The location is within walking distance of Hauptwache, Willy-Brandt-Platz, and Frankfurt's main shopping district, with direct access to public transportation.

FOUR Frankfurt is pursuing DGNB Platinum certification, the highest certification awarded by the German Sustainable Building Council, for both the district and its individual towers. The development was also the first project in Germany to receive a DGNB Deconstruction Certificate, recognizing the reuse and recycling of materials from previous buildings on the site. The wider development incorporates geothermal energy, cycling infrastructure, and biodiversity-focused landscaping.
