Driving innovation in business aviation, Liebherr-Aerospace will showcase various solutions at NBAA-BACE, demonstrating its readiness for the next generation of business jets. The company is looking forward to welcoming customers and visitors to its booth no. 3555 from October 20 to 22, 2026.
"We are very happy to present our products and capabilities for the aerospace industry," said Alex Vlielander, Chief Customer Officer at Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS. "Future business jet platforms will benefit from our expertise with regard to aircraft electrification, weight reduction and solutions for small installation space requirements. We are looking forward to networking with different stakeholders and discussing how we can meet the current challenges and trends."
Landing gear systems for safe and reliable operation
Liebherr develops, manufactures and services complete landing gear systems. These include landing gear structures, extension/retraction and steering actuation, position and warning systems, wheels, brakes, sensors and cockpit controls. Liebherr's solutions are integrated into a wide range of aircraft, including the Legacy 650. The nose landing gear for this business jet, manufactured by the Brazilian company Embraer, will be on display.
Air management systems to elevate passenger experience
Liebherr develops and supplies integrated air management systems that regulate air supply, temperature, humidity and pressure, thereby contributing to passenger comfort and operational safety. These systems comprise bleed air and air conditioning components, cabin pressurization, air distribution, ice protection and supplemental cooling. Designed for use across various aircraft platforms, Liebherr's solutions provide consistent performance, reliability and efficiency throughout their operational lifespan.
As a solution provider, Liebherr supplies the integrated air management system for the Falcon 6X by Dassault Aviation, ensuring safe comfort for passengers and crew on board.
Volatile organic compound and ozone converter
Clean air is premium comfort: Liebherr's volatile organic compound and ozone converter (VOZC) technology removes ozone and unwanted airborne contaminants from cabin air, helping deliver a more comfortable travel experience.
Designed, and already in operation, to meet the high comfort expectations of business jet passengers and crew, the system contributes to a healthier and fresher cabin environment while leveraging Liebherr's extensive expertise in air management systems and cabin comfort solutions.
Leader in the development of electromechanical actuators
Liebherr has long been a recognized pioneer in the development of electromechanical actuators (EMA) for medium- to large-sized commercial aircraft. The company has expanded its portfolio to include smaller actuators.
The new concept is designed for the AAM (Advanced Air Mobility) sector and is suitable for smaller aircraft, business jets and helicopters. Liebherr's EMA family concept draws on experience gained from millions of flight hours across numerous aircraft programs involving actuators and associated electronics over the past decades. This development approach enables scalability for small installation spaces, a favorable power-to-weight ratio and high reliability.
Aftermarket activities
The Liebherr-Aerospace team looks forward to engaging customers and partners, from around the world at its booth to discuss developments in the business aviation industry, including aftermarket activities.
In the USA, Liebherr's customer service organization is represented by Liebherr Aerospace Saline, Inc., based in Saline, Michigan. The facility provides repair services, technical support and spares distribution, and also operates a liaison office in Seattle, Washington. In Laval, near Montreal (Canada), Liebherr-Aerospace operates another service facility offering technical, logistics and engineering support.
