On Defence Day, Syed Imran Ahmad Shah has paid heartfelt tribute to the martyrs and ghazis of Pakistan and saluted the officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces for their courage, dedication and unwavering service to the motherland.

He said 6th September holds a special place in the nation's history, reminding us of the resolve with which Pakistan defended its sovereignty and the remarkable unity displayed by the people at a defining moment for the country.

He said the sacrifices of those who laid down their lives for Pakistan can never be repaid. Their courage and devotion remain an enduring source of inspiration, while the families of the martyrs continue to deserve the nation's respect, gratitude and care.

Referring to the Marka-e-Haq, Syed Imran Ahmad Shah commended the courage, professionalism and determination demonstrated by the Armed Forces in safeguarding the country. He also appreciated the leadership of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces, in strengthening national security and safeguarding Pakistan's interests.

He said Pakistan's greatest strength lies in the cooperation and mutual trust between its Armed Forces and the people. The unity witnessed during times of national challenge must continue to guide the country towards peace, stability and progress.

He said the true spirit of Defence Day lies in preserving the unity, discipline and national resolve that have enabled Pakistan to overcome difficult challenges. The best tribute to the martyrs is to remain committed to the ideals for which they sacrificed their lives and to work towards a stronger, more united and prosperous Pakistan.

The Federal Minister prayed that Allah Almighty grant Pakistan peace and security, protect the personnel of the Armed Forces, and bless the families of the martyrs with strength and patience. Ameen.
