Granville woman charged with felony after benefits fraud investigation

Shannon N. Kasuba Age: 28 Address: Granville, NY
INCIDENT SUMMARY: According to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy, the Washington County Sheriff's Office arrested Shannon N. Kasuba, age 28, of Granville NY, for Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree, a class E Felony, after a joint investigation by the Sheriff's Office and the Washington County Department of Social Services. As a result of the investigation, it was determined that Kasuba received benefits from Washington County Department of Social Services that she was not eligible for, resulting in her receiving benefits greater than $1,000.
Kasuba was released on an Appearance Ticket pending a future court date in the Town of Fort Edward Court.
