Metal Beam Guiderail Upgrades to Route 20 in East Granby and Granby

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) is announcing that upgrading of existing guiderail will be performed on Route 20 in East Granby and Granby from Route 10, mile marker 22.42 to mile maker 24.79. This project is scheduled to begin on September 23 and be completed on October 26, 2026. The project 0170-3718 consists of upgrading existing guiderail systems to current standard systems.

This project is being performed by Eagle Fence Company.

LANE CLOSURE/DETOUR INFO

There will be lane closures on Route 20 from September 23 to October 26, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic control signing patterns and flaggers will guide motorists through the work zone.

Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving in this area.
