One-Way Traffic Controls Next Week

Tuolumne County - The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will have one-way traffic controls in place for construction and maintenance work on State Route 49 (SR-49) and SR-120 within Tuolumne County next week. Work is scheduled to occur as follows:

State Route 49

  • One-way traffic control at Sapphire Ridge Road for tree work on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Parrots Ferry Road and Springfield Road for sign work beginning Saturday, July 25, through Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

State Route 120

  • One-way traffic control between Ferretti Road and Old Highway 120 for a crack seal operation beginning Monday, July 20, through Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
  • One-way traffic control between Saw Mill Mountain Road and the west boundary of Yosemite National Park for crack seal operations beginning Monday, July 20, through Thursday, July 23, 2026, from 6:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Motorists should expect 5-to-10-minute delays and use alternate routes whenever possible. All work is scheduled to occur as listed but is subject to change due to traffic incidents, weather, availability of equipment/materials, and construction-related issues.
