Requesting Input for Proposed Noncompetitive Sale to

Public and Charitable Applicant - ADL 234811

AS 38.05.810

Comment Period Ends 4:30 PM, MONDAY, AUGUST 31, 2026

The Alaska Department of Natural Resources (DNR), Division of Mining, Land and Water (DMLW) is conducting a public notice for a noncompetitive land sale located approximately 1.5 miles southeast of Houston. The legal description is Tracts A, B, D, and Lot 14, Block 9, Cheri Lake Alaska Subdivision, according to the plat recorded in the Palmer Recording District on December 2, 1963, as Plat No. 63-29, aggregating 42.64 acres, more or less.

Pursuant to AS 38.05.945 Notice, the public is invited to submit comments on the Preliminary Decision. The deadline for public comment is 4:30 PM, MONDAY, aUGUST 31, 2026. Only persons from whom DNR DMLW receives timely, written comment during the identified comment period will be eligible to file an appeal of the Final Finding and Decision (FFD). Written comment may be received by fax, email, or postal mail.
