Turner Construction Company kicked off the expansion and renovation of the pediatric wing and emergency department at Oregon Health & Science University's Mark O. Hatfield Research Center in Portland, Oregon earlier this month.

The $33 million project will enhance patient care capacity to provide critical care to patients. Construction will be delivered in multiple phases in order to maintain patient access and minimize disruption to emergency services throughout the project.

"We are honored to partner with Oregon Health & Science University on this expansion," said Andrew Stanton, Project Manager, Turner Construction Company. "This project will create a modern, patient-centered emergency care environment while ensuring that life-saving services continue without interruption during construction."

The project will be completed in 2028.
