Old Apex Road to Temporarily Close from High House Road to SW Maynard Road

• Cary will temporarily close Old Apex Road from High House Road to SW Maynard Road starting this Friday, October 24 and lasting through Sunday, November 2 as part of the Old Apex Road Waterline Reinforcement Project.
• Crews may work extended hours to shorten the closure period. Detour signage will be posted.

Cary NC - As part of the ongoing Old Apex Road Waterline Reinforcement Project, Cary will close Old Apex Road from High House Road to SW Maynard Road starting this Friday, October 24 and lasting through Sunday, November 2. Cary's current Old Apex 24" Water Main Reinforcement project includes an essential connection of the new water main to existing mains within SW Maynard Road and Old Apex Road. The work requires installing a new water main across Old Apex Road near the intersection with SW Maynard Road. A temporary road closure is required to complete work safely and in a timely manner.

Detour routes will be provided to manage traffic through the area. To shorten the duration of the road closure, extended work hours have been approved during the closure period. You may see the contractor working between the hours of 7 a.m. and 8 p.m.
