U.S. 101 (Hospital Curve) Overnight Ramp Closures - San Francisco

San Francisco County - As part of the ongoing U.S. 101 (Hospital Curve) Rehabilitation Project, Caltrans will implement temporary overnight ramp closures to facilitate active construction work in the corridor.

The closures are required to safely perform roadway rehabilitation activities previously announced as part of a project to improve pavement conditions and safety features on the U.S. 101.

Ramp Closure Schedule

Monday, December 29

  • NB U.S. 101 to WB Cesar Chavez / Potrero Avenue on-ramp: 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
  • NB U.S. 101 Vermont Street Connector off-ramp: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
  • SB U.S. 101 Cesar Chavez / Bayshore Boulevard off-ramp: 9:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Tuesday, December 30

  • NB U.S. 101 to WB Cesar Chavez / Potrero Avenue on-ramp: 9:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
  • NB U.S. 101 Vermont Street Connector off-ramp: 10:00 p.m. - 6:00 a.m.
  • SB U.S. 101 Cesar Chavez / Bayshore Boulevard off-ramp: 9:00 p.m. - 5:00 a.m.

Motorists should expect nighttime delays, follow posted detours, and allow extra travel time.

Weather Note: Ramp closures are weather dependent and will be postponed in the event of rain.
