NATCA Celebrates International Women in Engineering Day

Jun 23, 2026

Today, on International Women in Engineering Day, NATCA recognizes all the contributions and accomplishments from women engineers who are part of our Union. International Women in Engineering Day is celebrated each June 23rd and was first recognized in 2014 in the United Kingdom. It became an international day of acknowledgment in 2017. The day celebrates the contributions of women engineers in all career paths, especially - in the case of NATCA members - in aviation. The day is intended to encourage more girls and women to enter the engineering field. NATCA thanks all our Region X female engineers for the work you do daily to strengthen our Union and to maintain the safety of the National Airspace System.
