Today, under the slogan "Innovation For All", the IFA fair in Berlin is becoming a global meeting point, where manufacturers of home appliances and consumer electronics from around the world present their latest achievements and technologies that will shape the future. Among the largest global players this year is the Hisense group, presenting in Berlin an impressive range of home appliances and consumer electronics and numerous innovations under the Hisense, Gorenje and Asko brands. Hisense has also announced a new major sponsorship as an official partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026™. If you can't join us in Berlin, you can take a virtual walk through the Hisense booth here: Hisense Europe @ IFA 2025 - Shaping Tomorrow's Homes.
Hisense's exhibition stand covering the global Hisense, Gorenje and ASKO brands spreads on almost 3,900 square meters. As part of the official IFA tour, the Mayor of Berlin, Kai Wegner and his delegation visited the Hisense booth and met with the Hisense Europe management. IFA has further fortified its position as the world's largest event of the industry - for manufacturers, buyers, business partners and the general public, attracting more than 215,000 visitors from 138 countries last year, with over 1,800 exhibitors showcasing their products.
Hisense marks a new era of affordable premium technology and continues its partnership with FIFA
As a global leader in display technology and smart home solutions, Hisense is introducing a new chapter in innovation at IFA 2025. Building on the successful breakthrough of the RGB-MiniLED TV in January this year, which marked a new era of affordable premium technology and picture performance, Hisense has further upgraded its RGB MiniLED TV with powerful hardware enhancements and AI-powered software designed to bring fans closer to every moment of the game. Just in time for the new, fourth consecutive partnership with FIFA as an official partner of the FIFA World Cup 2026™. Through our collaboration with FIFA, we are not only building and strengthening the global brand recognition, but also continuously improving the fan experience with the latest technologies (e.g. the integration of technology into VAR systems at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ and the current RGB MiniLED technology for home screens). With such innovations, we are further strengthening our leading role in defining new visual standards and providing next-generation home entertainment.
At the official announcement of the new Hisense and FIFA partnership, Catherine Fang, Vice President of the Hisense Group, emphasized that football is characterized by vision, passion and shared values that unite fans around the world. "Hisense's ambition is to ensure that every fan can experience the game as vividly as if they were in the stadium. With a user-centric philosophy and continued strong investment in display innovations - from HDR to Laser TVs and now RGB-MiniLED - Hisense is committed to delivering an immersive viewing experience for the most popular sporting events, celebrating the beauty of the game and bringing people together."
FIFA Chief Business Officer Romy Gai said FIFA values the long-term partnership with Hisense and the company's strong commitment to innovation and football fans around the world. "Both organizations look forward to working together to bring the excitement of the tournament to millions of households around the world as we prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup™."
As the 2026 tournament will be the first to be hosted by three countries with 48 teams, Hisense will strive to transform billions of living rooms into front-row seats, ensuring that fans everywhere can enjoy the game like never before and truly own the moment.
Gorenje celebrates 75th anniversary with outstanding achievement in sustainability
The new Hisense, Gorenje and ASKO appliances bring improved technologies and functions, consume less energy, provide a simpler user experience and contribute to a greener and more sustainable future. This year, as Gorenje celebrates its 75th anniversary, we have crowned our sustainability efforts with the highest, platinum EcoVadis award, ranking in the top 1 percent of more than 150,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide. This places the company Gorenje, our manufacturer of home appliances under the three above mentioned global brands, among the most successful companies in the world in the field of responsible and sustainable business, and at the same time reflects our dedication and commitment to promoting sustainability as a core value of our operations.
A rich portfolio of innovations and design awards
Under the Gorenje brand, we are premiering at IFA the new SimpliCare line of laundry care, washing machines and tumble dryers with the innovative TotalFresh and NatureDry functions, which we will launch on the European market next year. TotalFresh uses a dedicated fan to dry the inside of the washing machine after each cycle to prevent the formation of mold, which prevents unpleasant odors and bacteria and keeps the machine and clothes fresh. NatureDry in dryers is especially ideal for delicate clothes that need extra care, as it protects colors, maintains the softness and natural feel of fabrics. By drying at just 38°C (approximately 25% lower than standard drying temperatures), it gently mimics the effect of air drying outdoors, but in half the time. With special functions of reduced washing and drying time, SimpliCare appliances can wash and dry a full load of laundry in 68 minutes.
For the first time at IFA 2025, we are also presenting new generations of dishwashers, award-winning Gorenje induction hobs with integrated hood (the German Design Award 2025 winner, Iconic Design Award 2025 winner and Circular Design 2025 winner) and built-in ovens (Red Dot 2025 and Iconic Design 2025 awards winner).
Hisense with promising growth on the European market
In Europe, Hisense has 27 business units, three manufacturing centers and four research and development centers. The European part of the corporation, the Hisense Europe group, with 10,000 employees across Europe, achieved 4.5 billion euros in revenue last year, sold 20 million products and achieved a 22% year-on-year growth in market share by value. The European market is among the most promising and fastest-growing for the Hisense Group in 2025, as sales revenue increased by 8.9% year-on-year in the first half of the year, and growth rates in key product categories such as air conditioners, washing machines, dishwashers and refrigerators exceed the industry average.
Strategically, Hisense's business development and growth in Europe is based on three pillars: a range of premium products (100-inch and larger TVs, laser TVs and technologically advanced home appliances with connectivity, energy efficiency and superior design), advanced own-developed technologies that provide consumers with appliances and services that support different life scenarios, and localized integration of R&D, production and sales. With the main European production center and a strong R&D center in Velenje, Slovenia, including manufacturing companies in Serbia and the Czech Republic, we have built a "European production + European design" system that improves channel response speed and operational efficiency.
Through innovation, service and high-profile sponsorships of the world's and European largest sporting events, and an impressive collection of awards for technologically advanced and superbly designed products, we are steadily investing in building up the strength and reputation of our brands.
