DGA Statement on Governor-Elect Amy Klobuchar's Victory in Minnesota
DGA Chair Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear released the following statement on Amy Klobuchar being elected the next governor of the state of Minnesota:
"Congratulations to Amy Klobuchar on being elected the next governor of Minnesota. As a U.S. Senator, she has represented Minnesotans with integrity and passion, and her relentless leadership - visiting all 87 counties every year - has made her one of the state's most popular elected officials. Amy has made history tonight as the first woman to ever become governor of the North Star State. The DGA is thrilled to work alongside Governor-elect Klobuchar as she continues to fight to make government more effective, accountable and innovative."
