We apologize for the disturbance and appreciate your patience as we work to complete the project.

Mini-roundabout now open!

The new mini-roundabout at NE 80th Avenue and NE Halsey Street is now substantially complete and open to the public.

Benefits of this mini-roundabout include:

  • Reducing crashes and improving safety by lowering vehicle speeds and minimizing conflict points.
  • Improving traffic flow and reducing delays compared to stop signs or traffic signals.
  • Lowering maintenance and energy costs since roundabouts don't rely on electrical traffic equipment.
  • Accommodating large vehicles, including TriMet buses, which can safely travel over the center island curb when turning.
