Greg Gibson Appointed to UA-EACC Board of Visitors

Armor Bank is proud to announce that Greg Gibson, Forrest City Market President and Director of Agriculture, has been appointed to the University of Arkansas - East Arkansas Community College (UA-EACC) Board of Visitors.

His appointment was approved by the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees during its September 17-18 meeting in Fayetteville.

The nine-member Board of Visitors serves as a liaison and advisor between UA-EACC and residents of eastern Arkansas. Members provide guidance on the college's educational and service needs, assist with securing financial support, and help strengthen the college's connection to the communities it serves.

Gibson, a Marianna native and University of Arkansas graduate, brings 13 years of commercial and agricultural lending experience to the board. He has a longstanding commitment to eastern Arkansas communities and currently serves as Vice President of the Forrest City Industrial Development Corporation Board, Board Chair for the Arkansas Community Foundation of Lee County, and a board member for St. Francis County Farm Bureau Insurance. He also serves as President of the Men's Golf Association at Marianna Country Club and as a baseball and softball coach for the Marianna Ball Association.

Gibson has a personal connection to UA-EACC, having attended classes at the college earlier in his education.
