On March 27, in Andorra, on the margins of the 7th Global Meeting of the Mountain Partnership, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Robert Abisoghomonyan had a meeting with Dinara Kemelova, the Special Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on mountain agenda.
The issues on the agenda of mountain countries within international organizations and multilateral frameworks were discussed. The Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized that Armenia, being a mountain country, seeks to advance the mountain agenda and enhance the efficacy of ongoing efforts.
During the meeting, the interlocutors touched upon the 17th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity, to be held in Armenia later this year. The Deputy Foreign Minister briefed on the works carried out and initiatives in the lead-up to COP17, as well as the vision of Armenia for convening COP17.
