Colorado Springs Airport Monthly Update – March 2026

Colorado Springs Airport (COS) reported steady passenger activity in March 2026, with 193,639 total passengers, essentially matching March 2025 levels. Year-to-date traffic reached 501,547 passengers, reflecting a promising start to the year as airlines add routes and increase flight frequencies. Airport officials credit the momentum to expanded service and continued passenger demand.

Several carriers posted strong gains in March. American Airlines' enplanements rose 43.2 percent with the additional service to Chicago, strong load factors on the Dallas-Fort Worth and Chicago O'Hare routes; Allegiant Air increased 30.7 percent, reflecting their increasing demand on existing routes; and Delta Air Lines grew 46 percent due to increased frequency to Salt Lake City and Atlanta. Southwest Airlines increased frequency on their Houston and San Diego routes.

Colorado Springs Airport remains focused on long-term growth through expanded air service and strong airline partnerships.
