Rep. Coffey Hosts Shred Event in Chatham

Chatham, IL…State Representative Mike Coffey (R-Springfield) and Chatham Village President Dave Kimsey are hosting a free Shred Event on Saturday, October 4th at Chatham Square. This is a drive-up event for shredding old medical records, financial statements, or other sensitive information you want to safely dispose of. Rep. Coffey encourages the community to take advantage of this service.

"I'm excited to join Chatham Village President Dave Kimsey to offer the community a great service that anyone can take advantage of to safety shred important documents they no longer need," said Coffey. "It's free, it's easy, and gives people peace of mind knowing their personal information is not being subjected to possible theft."

When: Saturday October 4, 2025

Where: Westside of Chatham Square

Time: 10:00 a.m. to Noon
