Tyler Hubbard surprised the audience with his Florida Georgia Line duo partner, Brian Kelley, when he took the stage in his home stage of Georgia on Thursday night (October 15).
Hubbard performed at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre in Alpharetta on Dan + Shay 's headlining "The Young Tour," which also features special guest Josh Ross in the lineup. Hubbard shared a clip on Instagram of the moment he brought his Florida-born duo partner on stage with him.
"I think if you guys make enough noise, we might just be able to bring out BK tonight. What do y'all think about that?" Hubbard said. The clip goes on to show highlight moments from the surprise FGL performance, set to the duo's "This Is How We Roll," which featured Luke Bryan. The song appeared on the 2013 deluxe edition of Florida Georgia Line's debut studio record, Here's to the Good Times. Hubbard wrote in his caption on Instagram that he and Kelley "had fun warming up for next year," on "Anything Goes Again: The Festival Tour."
The two country artists confirmed in February 2022 that they were "taking a break" as a duo to release music individually. Hubbard and Kelley delivered their final FGL performance in August of that year. Many fans began to express eagerness for a reunion when the pair posted a photo together at the Country Music Association's 59th CMA Awards in November 2025. Kelley later shared that he and Hubbard went on a hike together, and posted a throwback photo of the duo partners in 2016. Hubbard and Kelley stirred anticipation for a reunion before a viral moment at CMA Fest earlier this year in Nashville, Tennessee.
"We got three things we want to say tonight," Hubbard said at the time. "First of all, God is good. Second of all, life is short. And most importantly, your boys," he said as Kelley joined in, "we back, baby!"
Hubbard later shared that the excitement "felt like I was about to play the Super Bowl or something," and his bond with Kelley is "stronger than ever."
