Maimonides Health’s New 7th Ave Hub Brings Primary Care, Women’s Health, Pediatrics & Specialty Care Under One Roof

The site was developed after conversations with patients, community leaders in South Brooklyn.

Brooklyn, NY (August 11, 2026) - Maimonides Health today celebrated the opening of its new Adult and Pediatric Care-7th Avenue location, a one-stop healthcare destination designed to make it easier for Brooklyn families to access comprehensive, coordinated care close to home.

Located at 6323 7th Avenue, the practice brings together adult primary care, pediatric primary care, obstetrics and gynecology, endocrinology, urology, nutrition counseling, and soon neurology services under one roof. Designed around the needs of busy families, the site also features a dedicated playroom for children, a private lactation room, same-day appointments, online self-scheduling, and coordinated care across specialties, allowing patients to address multiple healthcare needs in a single visit. Parking is conveniently located a block away at the Maimonides Cancer Center.

The new location also expands access to comprehensive women's healthcare, providing services for every stage of life-from adolescence and pregnancy through menopause and healthy aging.

The location was developed after conversations with patients and community partners identified a growing need for expanded women's health services in southern Brooklyn. Conveniently situated near the Gowanus Expressway and multiple public transportation options, the practice increases access to care for patients across the borough.

"Healthcare should be built around people's busy lives-not the other way around," said Ken Gibbs, President and CEO of Maimonides Health. "Maimonides' Adult and Pediatric Care at 7th Avenue facility reflects what our patients told us they needed: convenient, coordinated care where mothers, children, and families can receive high-quality services in one welcoming location. By bringing together primary care, women's health, pediatrics, and specialty services under one roof, we're making it easier for Brooklyn families to stay healthy."

Providers at the center speak English, Spanish, Cantonese, Mandarin, Russian, Ukrainian, Armenian, Sinhala, and Tamil, helping ensure culturally sensitive, patient-centered care for Brooklyn's diverse communities.

Women's health services include annual well-woman visits, prenatal and postpartum care, gynecologic care, family planning and contraception, menopause management, cervical cancer screenings, breast health evaluations, STI testing and treatment, urogynecology services, and health education and counseling.

In addition to women's health, the center provides comprehensive pediatric and adult primary care, helping families establish lasting relationships with providers who can coordinate care across specialties as their healthcare needs evolve.

"Our goal is to provide seamless care throughout every stage of life," said Scott Chudnoff, MD, Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. "Whether a woman is coming in for her annual exam, prenatal care, menopause management, or bringing her child for a pediatric visit, patients can access the care they need in one convenient location from providers who work together as a team."

"Access to quality healthcare should never be a challenge for Brooklyn families. I commend Maimonides Health for continuing to invest in our community and expanding access to the comprehensive, patient-centered care our residents deserve," said New York State Senator Stephen Chan.

"Today is a great day for our southern Brooklyn community as we welcome the opening of the new Maimonides Adult and Pediatric Care-7th Avenue location. Once again, Maimonides has responded to the needs of families by bringing together multiple medical specialties in one building, allowing for coordinated care and convenience," said New York State Assemblymember Alec Brook-Krasny. "Thank you, Ken Gibbs, President and CEO, and the entire team at Maimonides Health for continuing to provide medical excellence and compassion for all your patients."

"As a nurse, I know what happens when care is spread across multiple office locations. Families put off appointments, skip the follow-up, and often end up in an emergency room months later. Bringing primary care, pediatrics, and women's health into one building in a convenient location changes that for many Brooklyn families," said Council Member Mercedes Narcisse, Chair, NYC Council Committee on Hospitals. "Patients have needed this for a long time. My thanks to the team at Maimonides for getting it done, and always striving to provide the best care possible."

"Comprehensive care means accessible care. Maimonides is a mainstay health provider for the diverse communities of South Brooklyn. The new 7th Avenue hub goes further to make access comprehensive and fulfilling. Women's health in our neighborhood deserves to be taken seriously, and our neighbors should be treated with dignity and respect in their healthcare journeys. Maimonides seeks to do that, by bringing all-stages-of-life care closer to home. I'm proud to be a community partner of Maimonides and bring this crucial support to 7th Ave," said Council Member Alexa Avilés.

"Brooklyn families deserve high-quality healthcare in the communities they call home. This new Maimonides location is a meaningful investment in the health of our South Brooklyn communities, making it easier for residents of Borough Park, Windsor Terrace, Kensington, and neighboring communities to access primary care, pediatrics, women's health, and specialty services in one convenient location," said Council Member Shahana Hanif. "Too often, navigating our healthcare system means traveling to multiple appointments or facing barriers to culturally responsive care. By bringing these services together under one roof, Maimonides is helping make healthcare more accessible, coordinated, and patient-centered. I am proud to welcome this new resource to the neighborhood and look forward to its positive impact on families across our community."

"I am thrilled to see this new facility combining so many needs in one location in our community," said Council Member Susan Zhuang. "No one should have to travel far for top-tier care, and I congratulate Maimonides on building a place where busy families can get critical medical attention at every stage of life."
