The ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) is pleased to announce its role as Institutional sponsor of the Africa Financial Industry Summit (AFIS) 2025, taking place on 3-4 November 2025 in Casablanca, Morocco. The Summit will convene over 1,000 leaders drawn from banking, insurance, fintech, capital markets, mobile money, policymaking, and regulation for two days of high-level conferences, debates, and networking.

Highlighting EBID's engagement at AFIS 2025, Dr. George Agyekum Donkor, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of EBID, will speak on the theme: "Green, Social and Blue Bonds and Green Sukuk: Building Africa's Climate Finance Toolbox." The session will examine how innovative financing instruments can mobilise scalable capital for climate mitigation and adaptation, strengthen resilience, and drive inclusive development outcomes across Africa.
