Statement from Congressman Nick Langworthy on the Violent Stabbing in Cattaraugus County Involving Illegal Immigrants
Congressman Nick Langworthy released the following statement:
"The violent stabbing that took place in Cattaraugus County on May 29th involving illegal immigrants is a textbook example of why it's imperative that there is cooperation between local and federal law enforcement. Thanks to the extreme professionalism and dedication of Cattaraugus County Sheriff's office and Buffalo ICE, they worked together to uncover additional violations and get this violent offender off our streets and into federal custody.

While our men and women in law enforcement are putting their lives on the line to protect public safety, Washington Democrats and Governor Hochul are doing everything in their power to defund immigration enforcement, shield dangerous illegals, and tie the hands of law enforcement. Their radical policies are putting everyone's safety at risk and that is why we will be voting on a reconciliation bill that will fully fund immigration enforcement."
