NORTHBROOK, Ill. - July 31, 2026 - UL Solutions (NYSE: ULS), a global leader in applied safety science, issued a public notice regarding YUK pipe fittings used in fire sprinkler systems, which bear counterfeit UL Certification Marks for the United States and Canada and may pose safety risks.

These products have not been evaluated by UL Solutions against the appropriate safety standards, and it is unknown whether they meet any safety requirements. UL Solutions recommends that these pipe fittings be immediately removed from service and replaced with properly certified products bearing the UL Mark.

The affected pipe fittings bear an unauthorized UL Certification Mark for the United States and Canada. The products are marked as shown below:
