9/11: We Will Never Forget

Today marks one of the darkest days in our nation's history. The attacks of September 11th will forever serve as a reminder of both the evil that exists in this world and the strength of the American spirit. Out of those ashes, our nation stood united, resilient, and unbreakable.

I am eternally grateful to the first responders who rushed into danger without hesitation, and to the brave men and women in uniform who answered the call to defend our freedoms in the days that followed.

In Congress, I remain committed to ensuring peace through strength and to sending a clear message to the world: NEVER AGAIN.

May God continue to bless America and the courageous troops who protect our nation.
