On 26 January 2026, the Government of Mongolia formalized its Strategic Partnership Program (SPP) Primer with the APO. The SPP Primer was signed by APO Director for Mongolia Erkhembayar Yamaaranz and APO Secretary-General Dr. Indra Pradana Singawinata, signifying an important milestone in strengthening strategic cooperation to advance productivity-led development in Mongolia.
Aligned with Mongolia's national development policies and aspirations, including Vision 2050, the New Recovery Policy (2022-2032), and the National Productivity Master Plan (2026-2035), cooperation under the Mongolia SPP Primer will focus on two priority areas: (1) the implementation of the National Productivity Master Plan and (2) Green Productivity and innovation in small and medium-sized enterprises.
The formalization of the SPP Primer reaffirms Mongolia's strong commitment to working closely with the APO to advance national productivity priorities through measurable outcomes and key results, in line with the APO Vision 2030, while expanding international cooperation and partnerships.
