Minister Shtonova: Supporting Domestic Production Is an Investment in the Country’s Future

Supporting domestic production is an investment in the country's future. This was stated by the Minister of Economy and Industry, Irina Shtonova, who presented the award to the winner in the category "Enterprise That Has Won the Trust of Bulgarian Consumers" during the annual Golden Martenitsa Awards.

The official ceremony was also attended by the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, Iliana Yotova. The event, at which Bulgarian companies were recognised for their achievements, was organised for the 322^nd time by the Made in Bulgaria Union.

Minister Shtonova emphasised that the food and beverage industry is among the steadily developing sectors in Bulgaria, creating added value, providing employment and attracting investment. "In a world of dynamic markets and strong international competition, Bulgarian producers demonstrate that quality and entrepreneurial spirit are among the defining characteristics of our industry," she said.

The Minister of Economy presented the award to KENDY OOD, a company with more than 30 years of history and 300 employees across two production sites, specialising in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
