(New Britain, CT - March 10, 2026) - The Connecticut Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) today released its Annual Report to highlight the agency's work in 2025 and preview major topics in 2026.
The 2025 Annual Report, which includes both metrics and summaries of key decisions across all regulated electric, water, natural gas, and telecommunications industries, is aimed at increasing stakeholder engagement and awareness of completed and ongoing proceedings.
This resource also details reports submitted to the General Assembly in 2025, as well as progress on specific PURA investigations required by recent legislation, notably Public Act 25-173, which included many directives for the agency.
As a quasi-judicial body, PURA can only make decisions based on the record evidence in any docketed proceeding. As the agency's decisions affect many stakeholders, these dockets are made more robust with increased awareness and participation.
